• Username: You may choose to define a username that is visible on the leaderboard. This is not used for authentication purposes.
• Profile Picture: If you choose to upload a profile picture, we may collect and store that image. You can set a profile picture by taking a photo using your device's camera or by selecting an image from your photo library. Camera and photo library access is only used to allow you to choose or capture a profile picture, and we do not store any other images or use your camera or photo library for any other purpose.
• Scores, answered questions, and player levels: This data is stored to improve your experience, such as by avoiding repetition of questions.
• Purchase Data: If you purchase a subscription, we store information related to your purchase, such as your user ID (UID) and subscription details, on Google Cloud Firestore.
• User-Uploaded Content: You may upload content such as PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, or RTF files to create custom quiz questions. These files are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage and are only accessible to you. The generated questions may become visible to other users if you choose to initiate a multiplayer quiz session using your uploaded content.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the app. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our app, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our app, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

1.3 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information automatically:

• Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve the app.
• Firebase Crashlytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports to help improve the app's stability.
• Firebase Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication for anonymous user authentication.
• Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display third-party ads in the app. Google may use cookies or unique device identifiers to show ads based on your prior visits to our app or other apps.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, including subscriptions.

• To allow you to set or update your profile picture using the camera or photo library.
• To show relevant ads through Google AdMob.
• To manage and process in-app purchases via RevenueCat.
• To track app installs and usage through Facebook App Events to analyze and optimize advertising campaigns.
• To monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the app.
• To understand and analyze how you use our app to improve its functionality and performance.
• To allow you to upload your own content for question generation and optionally share the resulting questions with other users in multiplayer quiz sessions you initiate.

We retain your data indefinitely unless a request for deletion is received. You can request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us through our contact page. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Children's Privacy

Our app is intended for users aged 4 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU).
